When’s the last time you saw one of THESE for sale? I’ve had this for several months now, and have been pondering how, or whether, to have it cleaned. I’ve decided to let the new owner do it to his/her preference. You see it just the way I got it. The left exhaust valve is missing, but the springs and collars are here (no split collets). It is a used part, and as such has some minor (imho) wear and tear. The most significant that I see. On the left end, the first two full fins have a nick in them – shown in close-up pics. The front corner of the bottom fin below those nicks is slightly bent. It looks like someone was tapping on the fin edges on the front top near the ends. Again, close-ups are provided. I have no idea why the one valve was taken out, but there’s no sign of any damage to the seat, or of any cutting/grinding of said seat. The spark plug threads all look good, but I intend to run a plug into all of them and report the results Just never thought of it’til now. I think this is a perfectly serviceable head, and it’s CERTAINLY a rare one! If you want to make a. Offer at any time, feel free – the worst I can do is say no.
