Brand new Tipo style heads. Fitted with LPG compatible valve seat inserts and cast iron guides. 39.5mm inlet valve size, 35.5mm seat throat size. 31.0mm exhaust valve head size, 27.0mm exhaust seat throat size. Inlet port size 28.5/29.0 and exhaust port size 27.5mm. I’ve flow tested one and the results were pretty good for a straight out of the box head. Port air speed numbers were good as well. I’ve only taken measurements at 200thou and 400thou, but my flow bench plots a port speed profile across 9 points (8 points around the circumference and one right in the centre) using a pitot tube. At 200thou the 9 points range between 249 and 261 feet/sec, at 400thou the range is between 317 and 335 feet/sec… Which is very good for an untouched port. Same with the valves I used for the flow test, straight out of the box TRW replacement valves, no backcut or profiling, so these are totally raw figures and my baseline for these heads. The 14 bolt Tipo type heads can fit the stock X1/9 or 128 style 10 bolt block, after the four small holes are plugged, and the thermostat has an adaptor plate to allow fitment of the stock X19 thermostat housing, for a 128 I can supply Tipo thermostats. I can also offer these as a complete modified head. Ported, oversized exhaust seat fitted, new modified TRW 39.5/33.5 valves, bronze guides, flow tested, modified combustion chambers, valve springs to suit your application. All new custom built head to suit your engine requirements. 140CFM inlet flow up to 160CFM inlet flow at 340FPS air speed.
